Why don't you Create your very own history! COVID 19 time capsule
Many of you reading this will be teachers, headteachers and professional workers entering your 4th week of a new way of working.
Like our team at Active Fusion, you have had to mobilise a new skill set rapidly to accommodate for a new online way of working. In the first couple of weeks of lockdown, I was spending over 15 hours a day in front of a computer screen followed by watching hours of the news. It didn't take long before I experienced the adverse effects of both my physical and mental wellbeing.
The importance of being active now compared to before the crisis has been reported by over 63% of people with even more adults stating that being active is helping their mental health during this outbreak. (Sport England).
In this newsletter I would like to share with you some positive resources to support teachers, families and most importantly young people. I am very privileged to work with an incredibly resilient and dedicated team of people. 'Working hard for something we don't care about is called stress, working hard for something we do care about is called Passion', Simon Sinek.
As we continue to deal with the COVID-19 outbreak and in response to the latest trends, we made the decision to commit our time to bringing our coaching and physical education knowledge to homes across Doncaster, South Yorkshire and beyond.
Each day at 2pm, we bring to you new, innovative ways to keep children, yourselves and your family active from the comfort of your own home.
